Strange one today spooky

This was a strange one I noticed the car smelt of oil. So I've checked the water and oil the last few weeks and there all fine no leaks nothing. I changed the pollen filter it was black. I put a brand new filter in but still the oil smell.

I worked out the smell like oil was coming from the heaters. But due to the warmer weather we had for a while I've mainly used the cold and aircon settling and opening windows. So I thought I put the hot setting on today as the weather changed there was no heat but still this smell of oil. So I left the hot setting on for 10mins and the heat come through in the end and the smell now gone.
