Skoda breakdown cover

Featured Replies

Hi, I bought my mk4  in March, used, from a Skoda dealer.

I still have cover with Green flag from my Mk3, which is up for renewal shortly.

My question is, How does the breakdown service work, as I have no paperwork or email mentioning any cover I may or may not have.

If I was to need to press the spanner button in the car, who comes out, & will I be charged?

Hi, I would assume that ringing ŠKODA Sasist with your reg number will identify the car as “ under warranty” and therefore has breakdown cover for that duration

I was told on Friday when I picked up my used October (2023) that I was covered until the warranty expires (2026) then I need to renew or find alternative

That is correct.

Thanks, so I don't need to renew with Green Flag, that will save me a few quid!
