Had an email yesterday evening  from noreply@Skoda connect.com  headed "Škoda Connect: services have been deactivated".. Reads

deactivated on 20.08.2024 at 19:43. You can activate these services using the infotainment system in your vehicle at any time."

 

Some seem to still be working  on my phone  e.g. lock /unlock..  Timing is weird -  message is was sent apparently 2 hours UK time 1 hour Prague time BEFORE the deactivation. 

Anyone have any idea why this would have happened  and where in the  *?$+**  infotainment  is the reactivation ??

I had this happen a little while ago. I received the e-mail shortly after I'd used the car. When I got in the car that morning it had logged me out of the infotainment and I was logged in as a Guest. I only noticed it as it came up on screen "Changing user settings" or something like that. I assume when it logged me out it also deactivated all of the services you mentioned above.

 

I logged myself back into the car, and also looked for a way to re-activate, but I think this happens by default when you login. I double-checked with the Skoda app and found I could still locate the car, and do "honk & flash", etc

This same thing happened to me this week. Not managed to resolve.

Sounds like your Connect subscription has come to an end..... You get it for free for a period from new but once the free period finishes you have to pay to keep the various services going.

Had a quick reply from Skoda (2 hours 30 min) so that's quite impressive. Reinstalling seems to have done the trick and as far as I can see the hard reset did not lose data.

  • Press and hold the power button for at least 10 seconds.
  • Release the button when the Škoda logo appears.

  • Screenshots or pictures demonstrating the issues within the updated app
  • Phone model
  • Phone operating system (Android/iOS)
  • Operating system version
  • MyŠkoda app version
  • Photo of the "Globe" icon (Infotainment screen)

No big surprise, about an hour after posting this I had another apologetic email to say 2034 is an error, should be 2025
