I have had my fabia since 2014 so it's been 10 years and have no idea what this thing in pic does. If anyone got a clue can please let me know.

It is a case to hold your glasses. Push on the horizontal raised line and it opens.

Now that I have a look at your photo again it appears that yours is just a blank. I have the Elegance and it is fitted there.

That is what is in the rearmost part. As I said, a case for glasses is included in the high-spec model.

Plenty threads here over a decade plus about actually fitting the glasses holder if the car came as in the picture.

The colour etc.

It does nothing.

^^^ Nonsense.

It covers the hole that is there if it is not fitted.

& put tape over the slots in the cover and you might know why they are there.
