Fault P2002

Featured Replies

Hi,

Have scrolled this forum and various others but haven’t come across anything definitive.

Skoda Superb 2.0TDI with 105,000 miles.
Do a lot of long motorway journeys.

Recently had the EML come on a couple of times during long drives.  Doesn’t appear to clear itself, unsure if car is attempting a re-gen, not sure how you tell?
I have a basic OBD scanner which is giving me fault P2002.

Having cleared the fault code with the scanner, after around a week of approx 500 miles the EML came back on with the same fault code, this time I left it and it doesn’t go out by itself.

Is there anything I can check myself to narrow down the cause?

My OBD scanner gives me some freeze frame data, not sure if this would help at all?

Thanks in advance.

problem with DPF / regeneration ?

can have various causes - leak, injector, sensor, filter itself ...
