Hi all,

 

I've spent this morning calling around dealers and workshops, and googling but can't seem to find a definitive answer.

 

My octavia is currently in bits on my driveway (intake manifold out!) due to having a leaky waterpump housing & stuck open thermostat.

 

Before I commit to tearing down even more of the engine, does anybody know what the part number is for the whole waterpump/thermostat unit?

There are other parts which are required so ive been told.

If you give AKS tuning a call the guys there are amazing and should be able to give you all info you need.

I believe I am in the process of buying the same part:

 

06L121111P is what I have been told from Skoda - but the last letter is just the revision version, mine has had a 06L121111J previously.

Not all come with a new replacement belt and seals, so worth checking 

The belt is a pita to change. You'll struggle without a rattle gun. I left it.

 

If buying genuine you do need.

 

1. Thermostat housing 06L121111P

2. Water pump 06L121012L

3. Union to oil cooler can't remember

4. Belt and bolt if you want it

 

If you buy the Ina part equivalent, they are the oem supplier, all of it except the plastic union comes with it. That's what I did.
