Hi folks, I'm treating my vRS to some suspension tweaks, so just wanted to ask a couple of questions on the bits that can be raided from the VAG parts bin...

1) S3 lower front strut brace. Anyone got any installation pictures ? I've got the parts ready, but just wanted some visual clues before I get started.

2) R32 front anti-roll bar. Anything else I can/should refresh while fitting this ? Drop links ? Other bushes ?

Bit grainy, but its really simple if you've got the car up in the air. Mine has the fluffy stuff at the bottom, and the two nuts can't go anywhere else but the location you see here.

Nice one Quinten, thanks. I was going to mount the fluffy side upwards to prevent any clattering of metal on metal - is that reasonable ?

TBH, I don't think any consideration was given to it when we fitted it. You certainly don't have to worry about any metal on metal clattering when fitted fluffy side down.

I think the foam's there to stop it rubbing on the undertray of a Golf, which isn't a problem on the Octy

Anyone know the specified torque settings for the bolts on the S3 brace ?

I dont that there is any its just nipped up to be reasonable
