Headlight vents

Featured Replies

Hi everyone.

Looking for some help as one of the headlights keeps getting condensation on the inside.  I can clear it out but it keeps returning...

I can't see any damage that's letting water in and looking  online people say clear the headlight vent....

So does anyone know exactly where they are as I can't see them???

Should point out it's  a 2016 face-lift model with the led running lights at the bottom.

Thanks

What vent? AFAIK it's an ultrasonically-welded plastic unit, and unless the seams have failed between the various parts, the only other way in or out for moisture is the via the rubber bungs over the bulb holders.

Assuming the rubber bits have not been disturbed and are in good nick (a smear of silicon grease may help seal them), then the headlamp has a failed joint somewhere, and you may as well get one from a breaker's or buy a new one.
