The revs jump when I come to a complete stop or when I rev the engine stationary - Octavia Facelift 2.0 150 DSG

Featured Replies

Hello,

I'm attaching two clips so you can see what it's all about. I want to clarify that it doesn't do it every time. It can appear both on a cold and on a warm engine, but mostly on a cold one.
No VCDS Errors when running full scan. I tried another fuel, but the effect is the same. Has anyone else had this happen to them ? The car is 50 000 miles
How can i fix this ?

Are you getting an inplausable signal from the accelerator actuator?  Would show up on a scan.

@Sladkarq  Is it an issue with your foot on the brake pedal, as in the car tries to move?

Maybe the car likes a wee dance to the music.

Daft question, but can you hear the engine revs change at all?

I.E. is it a throttle issue, or a tacho issue
