ACC Fault, speed limiter and collision sensor working okay?

Featured Replies

Hi,

Intermittent fault has developed with my 2017 SEL Exec.  Sometimes on a drive I come to activate ACC and just get “ACC: Error” on the dashboard and it will not activate.  No other faults and I can switch to speed limiter and that’s fine.  The car status shows no fault when this happens either.

Anyone had this before?

Thanks,

Hi all,

To give an update on this, it would appear it's related to the battery health.  When fully charged this issue does not arise, but would happen if the car had not been used for a few days and gave a sluggish starting (as happens with tired battery).

Still original factory battery? If so, change it, I guess. It's been going exceptionally well for it to have lasted this long. There is nothing to lose by doing this.
