Quite something for a 1.2 12v lol did reach 115 but no photo evidence :(

Shame runway wasn't longer.

You just have photoshopped the speedo somehow

:P

Ha :D

Richard- you did well getting the 1.2 up to that speed! I could only manage 90mph and got wasted by a scooter with gears at the same time...

have had it there a number of times along this runway... even with a hefty amount of fuel in. Guess its down to our own driving.... i would gain a lot of speed in 2nd/3rd i.e red line on both of them before changing.

Top speed off 99mph is ********!! Don't know where they get that from.

Although its on verge of killing the 1.2 at these speeds... it doensn't noticably struggle or make much noise about it,

Great lump! just shame fabia is such a heavy car.

Here is my pd100 in controlled conditions :)

Have you checked the accuracy of your speedo against a satnav system. Sounds suspect to me tbh. Where you driving down mountainside by any chance?

what does that equate to in MPH?

135mph if I've calculated that correctly.

I suspect it's more like 121mph allowing for 10% speedo error. Still good going, though!

3mph out according to sat nav

Against both my road angle and a hand held Garmin my speedo over reads by 3mph till 90 then 5 right up the range from there. But makes a good picture and it's only as inaccurate as the next persons car... so...
