Front Anti roll bar diameter (1.4tsi 150bhp)?

Featured Replies

Looking to replace the front anti roll bar bushings on the car, anyone know what the diameter of the ARB is? Autodoc has the bushes listed at 23, 24 and 25mm which is not very helpful!

TIA.

From the Skoda Superb MK3 parts catalogue, it looks like most cars with build code 1X0 (front wheel drive) have OEM part number 3Q0411303 for the front anti-roll bar...which uses 24mm bushes. The exception for front wheel drive cars, is that if that car has build codes 1X0+TH8 then the OEM part number is 3Q0411303R for the front anti-roll bar...which uses 25mm bushes.

Great information Carlston, thanks, I'm not familiar with those build codes, how would I find out which one I have?

If you get your VIN decoded the build numbers will be shown.

If you're lucky, those codes may be on a sticker in the boot, next to spare wheel well.

I doubt the 1.4 petrol 150HP would have 25mm bushes, that's likely to be reserved for the most powerful front wheel drive cars such as the 2.0 petrol 220HP.

There are sellers on ebay who can supply the build codes for about 3.60 Euros (about £3.00).

Think I might just crawl under the car with my Vernier gauge!

Unfortunately that sticker went AWOL when I added sound deadening to the boot area.

Hey Pete, from the information you have there can you see if you can buy those anti roll bar bushes separately, and if so is there a part number?

If too much trouble no worries. Tx!
