Evening all. Just after some help.

I bought a vrs octavia 2021 at 2pm today and had the SOS call error code show up as I was driving home on motorway.

How do I fix this?🤔🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️

 

I am also now having issues with the infotainment system. It's not turning on. Just showing ' loading settings' ??

Could this be linked to the SOS error code.

The SOS module and infotainment are known issues and will require a dealer or independent specialist visit to fix.  both are described here if you search the forum.

 

If you bought the car from a Skoda dealer then they should have performed all these updates to the car before selling it.

As Rob said, very common issue (one i am also a victim of now).

 

For some, a software update fixes the problem, for others it required a new Antenna or SOS module.  Software updated didnt fix mine, so am now looking to get booked in for further diagnostics and potentially a new antenna.

Holding the physical button bottom left of the screen for 5+ seconds cleared this for me
