Rear headrest release button

Featured Replies

Hello everyone,

I’ve got a 2008 Skoda Fabia 1.2 htp and I have a problem with one of the rear headrests. Unfortunately the button you have to hold to move the headrest is missing. The rest of the assembly is there but the button is gone.

I went to the scrapyard to find a replacement with no luck.

any clues as to what the button should look like so I can source a replacement (or make one!).

thank you!

Have a look on the bay I bought a pair of new ones  for my old MK2 fabia a while ago they were £30 for the pair if I remember and you replace the whole unit it's like a raw plug shape pushed into the seat, also try a main dealers sometimes they sell things like this really cheap it's worth a try I don't think you can just replace the button bit but not 100% sure about that

Thanks, I’ll look into it. How did you find the process of taking the old ones out and putting the new ones in? Any tips?
