OY! Stephensons Rocket was Hi-Tec when you were a lad:rofl:

They were a fast car when they were running properly.........

But the brakes were dreadful......:eek:

First car I had after Uni (same colour but G778KYD), still even reminiscing doesnt make me want to bid. Mine was a good runner too!

;) ;) ;):D Looked "ok" :D

If i had a Mechanics brain, i would snap that baby up!!! :thumbup:

ewww

Kids today!! :rolleyes::D

It is in rather good condition! The turbo's can be rather quick! IIRC the 2.0 engine was the M-series which is slightly more robust than the later T.......though I might be wrong on that.

hmmmmm too good to track it?

^ Picture the scene, a 2006 hot hatch being driven relatively carefully (as not the wreck the nice shiny car)...Just imagine the looks on their faces as you hang on for dear life, torque steering past 'em on a bend...

We've been overtaken by a Maestro! :rofl:

The Maestro Turbo gained lots of publicity/image when footage of a stolen one was shown razzing around Blackbird Leys in Oxford on the 6 O'Clock News in about 1990.

The story's even in Wikipedia
