Warning lights

Featured Replies

EPC, ABS, ESC , TYRE , Power Steering. Warning lighting up.  Has anyone had a positive result from  previous posts , ie. (dsg/mechronic unit ) issues?  My Octavia is under 5 years old and done only 9000 miles. Any in for would be most grateful.

Cheers guys.

Most likely an ABS wheel speed sensor problem, all those systems need accurate vehicle speed.

You need a fault code scan done to get the details.

Looks like you're local Jeff.  I can happily recommend a local mobile indy who knows his stuff on VAG cars.  He scanned and confirmed the EPC light on Mrs Gaz's Polo recently, which was just a battery in the twilight of its career.

Your diagnosis was spot on.   Found to be a passive sensor fault with intermittent issue.   After a GFF  no fault stored. Thanks again for your input Dave.
