I own a 2017 Skoda Octavia, which I have been actively using for about a year. However, I am not sure if my infotainment system is up to date. I have attached photos with the necessary information about my device. I use the car in Turkey, so having the system in Turkish is important. Could you please help me with this? What is the latest software version for the device I am using? Thank you, and have a good day on the forum.

I sent you the link to SW 0369 via PM although you should NOT expect that Turkich will be available just after SW upgrade - maybe (I don't remember) it's available in 04xx firmwares but in such case unit must be patched first to enable such upgrade and then  container file must be loaded to teh unit as well.

I have now a Skoda as second car and try some things with OBDeleven, updates and so on.... Maybe one day I will be able to give some advice, hope so.

 

Question, I have a Skoda Octavia with Columbus and think it's need an update to try sime stuff with OBDeleven.

My question is, do you have an update? 

Do you see any things which need to be updated?

Dear All members,

I just bought Skoda Octavia A7 2019. My infotainment is partly locked. Installed software version in it is MEN2_EU_SKGPx_P7381L , MU version 8740 . I've been trying to find latest update , to unlock all features, but without any luck. On mibsolution.one and MIB-helper I cant find suitable firmware.

It there anyone why could share with me appropriate software, so I can conclude this issue?

Honestly I'm not sure of all possibilities of infotainment (obviously is basic). What I noticed immediately is when I press APP button it says like info to contact supplier for additional features. Is there some way to unlock that (without going to official Skoda). I guessed with firmware it will be solved...

Firmware won't solve it, but there are people and tools that can enable some additional features (such as CarPlay & AndroidAuto) - I'm not one of those people!

i tried to update the maps, but maybe i dowloaded the wrong one and now the card is not working. Can someone help me to find the original maps to reinstall inthe original Skoda Sd?

Do you know if i can update the software 0435?

New maps for the MIB1 AMundsen stopped being made available in 2021 - 5 years after the MIB1 Amundsen was last fitted to a new car in production.

 

If you enter your VIN into the Skoda Portal you will see the latest available maps.

I entered the vin and it shows many different update. But i have a sd card Škoda of 8gb

I think you're being offered MIB2 maps which don't work on a MIB1 unit.

 

I think you need to ask in this forum where to get MIB1 Amundsen maps.

I couldn't find a link to MIB1 Amundsen map updates when I searched earlier, which is why I suggested you post in the Audio Electronics and Security forum which is where map updates get discussed.
