Hi I have 2 codes after a VCDS check, one for climatronic and one for control circuit for signal horn, hopefully the pics are ok. Anyone have any ideas to resolve them? Thank you.

Functional limitation due to energy management sounds like low battery voltage. Old battery? Or battery is draining for some reason. Or was drained by usage before the code was recorded.

 

I wud ignore the horn open circuit for now since it is occurred once and is intermitten. (Ofc it might have occured more than once but reseted itself). Except if you have unexpected battery draining. Ofc you cud try does your horn work.

Thanks for your reply and Yes the horn does work fine, I do think the battery has depleted a little over winter and I was leaving a Bluetooth OBD reader connected which I have now removed. I will pulse charge the battery and get some longer journeys done.

If it is a weak battery, the Stop-Start system ( if you use it ) also may not function as regularly as it used to. 

That’s correct, stop start is working but after a longer drive.

Fingers crossed it just needs a few more longer journeys to set it right again. It appears that there is quite a drain on the battery when the car doesn't get used much, particularly during winter months. So much tech on board that never sleeps.
