by fixing the fault?

I think you are going to have to give a bit more information if you want more specific help.

Got the car on the 11th and the reversing camera worked fine and now in the second week of having the Karoq 1.5 set auto its showing the rear of the car when put into reverse mode but that picture says on the screen when put into forward drive.

My OBD11 shows it as a passive fault along with many others. Thanks for looking. Paul.

That would suggest the fault is not with the camera. That works.

The problem is the switching in the head unit.

What are all the faults?  This may point to a failure point that affects multiple things. Rather than the things themselves, IE there is not a fault with the camera but its switching.   VAG cars are known for this.

Are you expecting it to go off immediately you go to drive ?

Both my previous MY2021 and the current MY2025 do stay on until you're moving forward

Mine stays on until I have gone the few yards it takes to self lock the doors. My 2018 Octavia was the same.
