Seeking workshop manual advice

Featured Replies

I have a 2010 Skoda Fabia 1.6l petrol, automatic transmission. I'm looking for a workshop manual so I can do some maintenance at home. I've looked at the Haynes manuals and the closest I've found is this one which, frustratingly, specifically says it doesn't cover my car.

Does anyone know of any good workshop manuals (preferably a physical book) that cover my car and provide step by step instructions?

Also/alternatively, does anyone know if there are any parts of the linked manual that would be suitable for my car? Certain systems that will be the same even if the whole thing isn't?

The sort of maintenance I'm looking to be able to do is servicing tasks like replacing spark plugs and changing the air and oil filters, and then also some tasks such as replacing the brake pads/discs when they get worn and corroded. I'm hoping to learn more as I go on.

Thanks

You can purchase them directly from Skoda as a downloadable pdf at https://skoda.erwin-store.com/erwin/showHome.do

You purchase a time-based subscription and you can access as much as you want during that time. It's a good idea to have your VIN handy as this saves a lot of time finding stuff.

@nextsep17 as @chimaera says, with the note that 1 hour and a USB stick should let you download all relevant manuals.

I have the Haynes manual online.

Signed up to erwin and this looks like what I'm after.

Cheers all!

@nextsep17 In 2009/10 Skoda never gave a Service Schedule for the Tiptronic gearbox and a ATF change.

What does it show now as being due? 80,000 or 100,000 miles.
