poor show by skoda at goodwood

Featured Replies

festival of speed was the best yet!!! but skoda wrc were the only representive of the mark and had no interest in the fans....... example of this we chatted to fords rally arm, the staff were happy to chat and answer questions we had, i even got a little lad a chance to sit in the drivers seat of gronholms winning car(which meant i got a try in the driving seat too.....must try too get a smaller *** lol),i had to keep walkin up the hill each day to see if the skoda team were in(which was rare) they had no interest in chatting, i had to embaress them into giving a little lad an autograph( he had been waiting for ages quietly about an hour and he was the only one there) how do they expect support if this is their attitude. by the way if u get chance go it is an amazing event,

ps also saw loads of furby vRS there 1 in particular black private reg ending in vrs briskoda in back window

not a very good attitude really, silly skoda.

You shoud have said hello!!

I don't know why people are so shocked especially with the attitude of customer services.

The skoda team at goodwood were not the full factory team like ford, subaru, peugeot.

Just a bit of defence for skoda. A private team isnt as bothered about what people think of skoda, they are just using the car.

That's right, it was a bonus to have the Fabia at Goodwood at all really as Skoda have no official WRC presence this year, just supporting private teams.

Thee was a 350 bhp Octavia 4x4 in the GRRC car park fully stickered ready for the Furball 5000 next week :) :) :)

The last few years i have attended the Rallye Bohemia (formally Skoda rallye) there is always a driver signing evening inside the building next to the museum before the rally and you always had a great opportunity to meet the drivers past and present from Skoda including the great Mr Haughland.Old Skoda was definatly a great team to follow unlike these boys, even Bruno Thiry posed for a photo with my better half..good days indeed !

Went to San Remo a couple of years ago, I got the impression the Skoda Team kept to themselves. Agree with above, a private team would probably have no interest in metting fans, just get the job done.
