Featured Replies

Hello

i I need a passenger headlight unit part number 6V2 941 015 E, does anyone know where I can get one from cheaper than Skoda want for them?

im based in Wakefield west Yorks.

thanks

Skoda might be a good price when you check things out, or as you only want one perhaps go second hand on eBay or local breakers/recycling centres.

Thanks for that, sadly none of them match my light unit.

 Thanks again

Physical damage to existing unit, or internal failure?

A piece of coal hit it on m62 yesterday, has put a whole size of a 50p in it.

How do those prices compare to Skoda.

When I twice replaced the a rear light unit on my wife's 2015 car the aftermarket units were not as well made as the VW ones.  To my surprise the second unit was the same manufacturer as the first but in the intervening years the quality had dropped so further still for the factory original I would have been better I think risking a s/h unit off eBay that would be the way I would go now, no decent scrappies here to go directly to.

@Stevept80, I didn't check for you the other day, but having just done so, I see that the part number you quoted was superseded by Skoda to 6V2941015F, which is what they presumably quoted for, £496 + VAT? (£595.20)

Which makes the LLL one seem relatively cheap; although it's now showing as check availability, so may be illusory.

A suffix-E one on ebay at similar price https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/134827777739

Hey

I saw that one on eBay yesterday, Skoda in Leeds dropped price to 533, is £100 different worth it?

how long will it take to fit? I’m not massively confident on doing jobs like that.

Sorry, I don't know the answer to either of those questions. Front bumper may well have to be removed to replace it, which adds a bit of labour time.  If you can DIY, it may save a fair bit.

Shame there don't seem to be any aftermarket units available yet.
