Low tyre pressure, which tyre?

Featured Replies

Recently changed from 2017 Fabia to a 2022 Kamiq, got a low tyre pressure warning light, how do I know which tyre has low pressure?

I could easily find this on my old Fabia, tried searching web/manual and this forum and it looks like to doesn't tell you? Only show you how rest light

Welcome.

You have to go check the tyres with a tyre pressure gauge to see which of the 4 is lower than when set and the TPMS was set.

Only 4 to do, it could be the first you check or 2nd, 3rd or the 4th.  But then you will know the pressures you are running.

?

Have you checked the pressures and set since getting the car and reset the TPMS?

Ah that's what I thought, I'm a lazy bollicks :)

Once I got such warning message but with description which one  exactly

Ukraine not in the EU but in Europe, Ireland in the EU and Europe but not the UK.

Models change for different markets.

In my experience on my 2020 SE-L, at first the warning didn't identify the tyre concerned, but after a software update it started to do so.

Did you cehck on the vehicle state graphic?  The faulty tyre might be highlighted there.

It depends on the options installed in your car.
If you can see the pressure for each tire displayed on the dashboard, then your vehicle is equipped with a complete TPMS that uses individual sensors in each wheel.
However, if tire pressures are not shown on the dashboard, then your car likely has an indirect TPMS, which doesn't use sensors in the tires but instead estimates pressure changes based on wheel rotation and distance.

My Karoq has the indirect system, and when I had a puncture it told me which tyre was low.
