Repaired and on the road!

Featured Replies

Fixing it was pretty annoying, but getting it on the road for a first car is great

Was sat for 2 years and has lived on a bumpy dirt track it's whole life so you can imagine the condition, I had to change lots of parts, in the end i got a new coilover kit and vrs rims,

I've got Pictures of it just before it got put on the road, and the drop at the front.

took so much work but I'm really happy with the result 🎊

Forgot to write it in the first place haha

That dark green is a nice colour on these. My mate (who I don't think is on here anymore) has a dark green estate in a similar shade. This was from a few years back when heading down to a show.

Yeah I really like the darker colours on these, it makes them look a bit more special than they are haha

They're quite good when you think about it. I've owned/driven a fair few rattly old heaps (including a Daewoo Nexia), and they're quite refined in comparison. The Daewoo was pretty old hat though.

Yeha I absaloutely love them, I'm actually part way through doing a vrs kinda conversion, except I'm not the world's biggest fan of the front bumper, so I'm on the look for some other aftermarket ones. Other than taht the engines are great too, reliable wee things.

I did the same thing when I started out. Ended up settling with a pseudo-Sport/Elegance sort of combination, with the worst possible engine... :D

It'll be a bit of a nightmare as you'll have to replace the fuel lines and tank also.

I'd say wait for your insurance to come down a bit and that at first, then look into something petrol powered from the range perhaps. :)
