Does the mk 1 octy have a variable vane turbo like the diesels? Just another 'possible' in curing my running probs. (have new n75 valve which i will fit tomorrow).

No, it doesn't have a variable vane turbo...hence it has the dump valve...

Still havn't got round to fitting the n75 yet.

Currently only one production car uses variable vane geometery turbos on a petrol engine, and that the new 997(?) Porsche Turbo.
