Keys and personalization

Featured Replies

I have new Skoda Kodiaq II for 10 days now. Me and my wife share it and I setted up two accounts for us. Mine is primary user and her's is additional user(different email). We also use different keys.
The problem is that when I unlock the vehicle it does not switch to proper profile. I would expect that if I unlock car with my key, my user profile is automatically selected.
And one other issue is when switching profiles. Sometimes it takes for ages to switch the profile (10 or more minutes) and when doing that I cannot use infotainment. I know I can reset infotainment by holding power button, but that is not the solution. Can someone help me this?

There were some posts about this before.

You need to lock/unlock/ on/off several times directly after adding the profile.

In my experience after that you have 90% hit rate.

With my Mk1 MIB3 I disabled the second profile since I found the same problems as you; with the introduction of profiles (the switch to non-hard coded key assignment in MIB3), profiles did not switch reliably, and the switch could take ages, and in some cases effectively hung.

The only reason for different profiles was seat and mirror positions, and we just use the hard memory buttons on the driver's seat for this.

do the memory buttons for the seat adjust the mirrors also?
