I'll be driving a BMW btw

To summarise:

BMWs are well built cars

There are a large proportion of people driving them with some sort of complex about being special.

Nobody is taking a dig at anyone, it's just you can't make a sweeping statement about a car being cr*p when it isn't

Now please chill people.

Crikey, bit heated this one. In the congested UK, and with modern cars anyone can overtake anyone else in almost any car, the 'winner' is just usually the maddest person who cares less about their, and other peoples lives and property. As for generalisations about BMW's, yes the cars are well engineered, in my opinion they are also now incredibly ugly which is a shame as some of the past cars were sublime. As for the drivers, well in my opinion and experience you are far more likely to get cut-up, or see some absolutely insane manouver from someone in a BMW than any other car. However the 4 wheel drive owners are not much better.

I also don't reckon it matters too much what car you yourself are driving, I drive a Fabia vRS and a Polo Tdi, and with each car you have good days and then days when everyone seems out to get you. Just don't rise to it, there's a oot of idiots about so just accept it and ignore them.
