Roadrage Incident

Featured Replies

I was on my way back from work following a Chrysler crossfire and both he and I overtake a couple of cars on the dual carriageway one being a black BMW.

The BMW immediately shot straight up my **** and then pulled next to me doing around 40mph, at this time as i was worried something was wrong. He then got in front as i braked, then he slams on repeatedly infront of me for no apparent reason.

We came upto some traffic lights and i got f**ked off and brayed the horn shoting the odds. He then stuck the finger up and starts throwing ****** signs, i point at his motor and start laughing. (It was a brand new BMW 5 series with something like AC SCHNITZER on the top right of it,it was no schnitzer but a diesel judging by the amount of smoke.)

I set off steady,he changes lanes so he is behind me again so i deliberately take it steady around 30mph to irritate him. The road cleared ahead i pulled over and gunned it to get away from the lunatic, looked in the mirror and he was well behind, nearly lost but still flashing his lights and even put the hazards on.

THIS GUY HAD A SERIOUS PROBLEM........but i couldn't understand what???

I take my exit at the roundabout with a car infront and what do i see bomb up behind me the black 5 series again but this time he pulls out to the right of me and swerves trying to force me off the road and pulls back behind. Then takes his left hand turning.

I had a good mind to follow him and knock his face in!!

It then began to dawn on me that maybe he didn't like a SKODA overtaking him and when i laughed at his "more show than go" motor, it hit a nerve.

Has anyone seen it,Black 5 series or possibly 6 series as it was debadged apart from the top right badge (something like ac schnitzer). In and around Oulton/Woodlesford????

I can see where you are coming from but it is best not to provoke these people. There are a lot of nutters out there these days. A couple of quid to the right person down the pub and they can find out where you live from your reg number. Better to take a deep breath and proceed as if nothing had happened whilst inwardly thinking "What a !*%$ ".

Good point.

He had the chance to get out of the car at the traffic lights but didn't. Judging from his motor he could possibly be more show than go.

Or maybe not, sometimes not worth taking the risk. I'd have been more weary if it would have been a **** car that he couldn't give a **** about.!!!

Just be man enough not to rise to it. Remember that Steven guy who was stabbed by Kenneth Noye on the M25??? Let him go and kill someone else. You were as much a **** as he was I'm afraid. Sorry.

It happened to me when I overtook an Audi A4 1.8T and pulled away from him. He came shooting up to me at the roundabout. Undertook me (I was in the right lane going straight on) and cut in front of me turning right. I suspect it was because he had been overtook by a Skoda!!

At the end of the day it's their blood pressure and heart attack, not yours. Better to know you're in the right and live to enjoy another day thah risk getting rammed (or worse). People don't realise they're in charge of a potential lethal weapon, and it's always the inncoecnts that get hurt the most.

To be honest, if people are gonna react like that about being overtaken by a Skoda just laugh at their ignorance and let them get on with it. They obviously have a serious inferiority complex and probably a small **** lol

It's not worth it - I will admit I've had times where I could have been better myself though (probably more than there should be :o )

I've had people that tried to cut in when there was 1/2 car length gap, and then they get agitated if you don't let them in... I won't do an emergency stop with a car/loads of cars behind me unless there is a reason, and cutting me up just isn't one of them (I've seen too many fast-lane incidents).

Generally though if I end up causing road-rage (or being 'raged' myself) I try to get away from the situation asap. Might swing it round a roundabout (bigger ones ;)) to put some distance inbetween, drop into a different lane, that kinda thing.

Nobody's perfect, and my name ain't nobody :P

and when i laughed at his "more show than go" motor, it hit a nerve.

I'd have one of these "more show than go" motors - make mine a 535d ;) Could well have been AC Schnitzer tuned too as they offer tuning packages for the new 5-series (diesel included). :D

Chris

It's hard to rise to it, as I know all to well

Some people really do have a problem on the roads unfortunately.

I got chased by two people with a knife in my car some time ago, did I learn from it? No.

Had an incident a couple of days ago similer to yours where somebody completely lost it over nothing, as it happens I was pulling into a petrol station, so I beckoned him to pull in as well. He did, all I'll say is its funny how people are happy to shout about and act a big man when sat behind there car, but when push comes to shove.........

"I got chased by two people with a knife in my car some time ago"

there realy are some grade A window lickers about!

Judging from how slow it was, i don't think it was tuned at all...

It was completely left in the lurch, only caught me up on the roundabout.

And Yes i'd have the 535d too!!

Yep this is a crowd of people who dont like skoda's doing the dirty to them, and it ****es off even more when it has L plates on! Personally I just think what a pillock and stay behind until I can legally blow them off the road so to speak....

agreed, I've given up overtaking people with the 'L' plates on, they seem to get seriously upset! had one guy (BMW) got out and came over, (I overtook him perfectly legally, driving by the the driving manual at 'part II' standard, within speed limits ect) I told him if he want's driving lessons he needs to pay me, he's not gonna get 'em free!

Whats better than that is seeing the face of a bloke driving a BMW thinking he's the dogs b@**%~#s and then getting overtaken by a GIRL in a SKODA!! HAHA!!

Message to all you beemer drivers:

Go home and cry (oh and get a car worth having)

I'm sure the BMW driver that has a nice M6 will think of you when he shoots off towards the horizon :o

Frankly it's each to their own, and if I had bags of spare cash I would certainly want to take one of those things out for a test drive. Spent a(n) (un)fair amount of dosh tweaking the vRS as I had a budget to stick to.

As long as the beemer driver uses their indicators ;)

I'm sorry chaps but the only way you will beat an M5/6 is when you pass him at a petrol station filling up. Those things rarely get more than 220 miles to a tank. I should know - I've got one.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA *breaths* HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

Give me a BMW over a Skoda anyday. After sitting in one and driving one, then going back to mine...? :o These things have proper build quality. Anyone wanna buy a Fabia vRS

They sure do - I quite like the E39 5-series ;)

Chris

Exellent car, however far too often driven by w*nkers

Glad you breathed there :D :D

Sadly the current climate of credit has put an awful lot of eejuts into nice cars.

You might be a man of steel too but lunatics don't fight fair anymore.More than happy to use a weapon.Best to let them go on their merry way.

you could pull over and wait for them to walk up, then hey presto BBQ scum

Excellent, unless your "victim" happens to have a bottle of petrol on him and sprays your car with it
