Hi,

I have Bolero system in my superb II Elegance, with parking radar. I am looking to install a new infotainment system with smartphone integration (android + Apple) and bluetooth connectivity, but also keeping the parking radar option and installing a new reverse camera.

Anyone has done this before? what brand and what model have you bought? what issues have you faced? with the sound, or the steering wheel buttons or parking radar or during the installation? here a picture of my current display. I need to keep a the passenger air bag light, so I can't put a big screen.

A lot of users have already done it. I recommend original VAG unit MIB STD2 PQ series.

Thanks for your comment. What are the pros and cons of this model?

Pros: much faster than RNS510, much better sound quality, Android Auto, MirrorLink, Apple CarPlay, built-in high quality Bluetooth, voice command

Cons: no video playback, no climatronic support

Hi pab567, I've only just joined the group so can't PM you, could you please PM me? I need radio and media buttons for my 2010 Skoda Superb Mk2 Infotainment system. I read you had some last year, do you still have them? Mine perished when my Dash Cam dropped off the windscreen twice!!

I'm in the same boat as OP and been looking to get Teyes CC3 2K headunit with the reversing camera. Tried searching for guides/tutorials/reviews on youtube but apart from a few Russian installation walkthroughs, I couldn't really find anything else.

All I'm trying to achieve:

- Something that is relatively easy to install so I can do it myself, and no need for reprogramming recoding etc.

- Retain original functionality of steering wheel buttons, and perhaps air con support etc.

- Wireless Apple CarPlay

- Adding a reversing camera

Any recommendations from people with experience using any brand that would satisfy the above would be very much appreciated.

I looked at the above mentioned original VAG unit MIB STD2 PQ series, don't like it. I also looked at RCD330, also don't like it. I'd like a bigger screen and a tablet-like look, if that makes sense.
