Featured Replies

Hello all,

I got a fabia about 3 weeks ago. Its a 2.0l elegance model with a few modifications:

1. Tuned my AMD. Power is up form 115BHP to 135 and torque up from 121 to 150. ft lbs

2. Koni adjustable suspension fitted to Eibach fast road springs (-30mm) all round (only adjustable on front).

3. Seat Front strut brace.

4. K&N filter

5. Janspeed custom handmade highflow stainless steel backbox.

6. VRS rear anti roll bar.

7. VRS rear tailgate spoiler

8. Painted brake calipers black.

Its an 02 plate with 31000 on the clock.

I am also running Bringestone Potenzas' (195/50/r15)

I am very pleased with it so far - its very quick (for me) and handles very nicely (even in the wet with traction control off;))

Here are some pictures:

Sorry about the quality/lighting - its a £30 camera :thumbdwn:

Yeh thats the one lol :/ my ... my bad. :)

Very nice looking Fabia, not many 2.0 about. I changed the wheels on mine for 16" which made a big difference, as the 15" ones look too small for the car I think.

Thanks m8.

I do want to get larger wheels at some point. If I went up to 16" I would have to drop the tyre size to 45 to keep the same rolling radias (ie same topspeed and correct speed readings) or would I need to drop it to 40? What are your size wheels and tyres do you recomend?

Mine are Skoda wheels 16x6.5 with the recommended 205/45-16 tyres.

195/45-16 would be a closer match in size to the standard 195/50-15 and cheaper too but the 205's are the recommended size so I fitted them.

I've just removed the wheels tonight and they might be in the For Sale section tomorrow. They are mint with no kerbing.

Sweet. What sort of price do you want for em'?

I'll give them a clean and put some pics up in 4 sale section later.
