Wireless android auto adaptor

Featured Replies

I have a 2017 model. Using a cable android auto works perfectly on my phone to the screen.

I bought the Byteware wireless adaptor so I don't have to plug the phone in all the time and I can't get it to connect.

Anyone else have same issues?

According to the manual

WiFi must be turned on

Bluetooth turned on.

This is correct. The issue is my Samsung s20 plus keeps.looking for the adaptor and can't find it.

The screen message in car then says Connection Failed.

Which system in the car do you have?

Plenty of folk seem to have issues based on Amazon reviews. Feels like you should contact byteware for advice, they claim to respond within 18 hours...

Man, this thing is expensive.

I went with a cheapo adaptor.

I have a Galaxy s23.

All I do is connect to the dongle Bluetooth.

Once the connection is done, the WiFi is automatically activated. Nothing more to do.

Make sure you have the car Bluetooth registered on your phone as when you connect to the dongle, it will activate the WiFi and switch to the car Bluetooth.

The WiFi between the phone and the dongle replaces the usb cord

Same here, I think I have the same one as @nickytheshaft

No idea on the byteware one, but I can recommend the new AAWireless TWO adapter. Seems to connect really quickly to phone and car.
