Brake Caliper Details - 2015 Superb Estate MK2 170 Manual

Featured Replies

Hi all, have searched but couldn't find any details on this.

Need a new caliper (front left) and my product codes under the boot floor have been water damaged and are no longer readable.

Are the front brake calipers the same for the 140's and the 170's. About to order one from Autodoc and it looks like all the calipers are the same however, just wondered if someone knew for sure prior to purchase.

Cheers!

Your front brake PR code is 1ZA.

312x25mm discs, caliper part numbers are 1K0615123E (left) and 1K0615124E (right), same as for 288 discs it seems.

@S1992 That front brake system is from ATE. You can buy the same component with an ATE-logo for about half the price that you pay your VAG-garage.

Also don't forget to do both sides, left and right!

Whilst i agree that you sjould chane discs and pads as an axle set. I don't think you really need to change both calipers.

There should be a duplicate spec sheet inside your owpersonal handbook or service schedule booklet.
