Well thanks everyone that offered advice in my Mk3 Vs MK4 thread

So yesterday I picked up my April 24 registered 2.0 TSi L&K.

Factory options. Petrol Blue, 19" Vega Aero's, massage seats and towbar that has not been used.

Very pleased with it so far.

It needs a good detail. It was a Skoda UK car for 6 months so has seen too many £7 hand car washes. So some swirls on closer inspection.

I'll get that sorted over the next few weeks.

Yeah, mine too was "official" car ... is on detailing now, took me a while to get to that (almost an year!) but oh well.

I’ve seen two cars on Autotrader, both 2018 and the technical and details in the ads suggest one is 227 BHP and the other is 242. Both appear to be the facelift variant, based on the split front headlights. Is there any other way of confirming the engine BHP apart from relying on the advert contents? Thanks

2014 SE. Had a low battery which failed to start the car. New battery. Car will start but dies after 3 seconds. Full tank of petrol. Dash engine light goes off but EPC remains on. Dash panel shows 'Safe' at all times. List of items checked: All fuses. Key fob battery. Spare key tried. Cam sensor changed. Ignition barrel and reader antenna changed. Crank sensor passes check. Fuel supply checked - OK. Throttle body checked. Multiple connectors checked. Battery disconnected, leads shorted. Dash pan

Hi everyone, I have a Skoda Fabia with a 1.2 AZQ engine. I have a warm running issue - the car misfires/stutters when fully warm. The intake air temperature (IAT) reads around 80°C when the problem occurs. When I unplug the EGR connector the car runs perfectly and IAT drops to around 30°C. Parts already replaced: EGR valve (new) + adaptation done MAP sensor (new) Coolant temperature sensor (new) PCV valve (new) EGR pipe is clean, no carbon buildup Breather hose between EGR and air filter ho
