Hi everyone

New Octavia owner, just bougt a used 21 plate Hybrid and tearing my hair out trying to connect Android Auto.

Car was only supplied with 1 key so cannot register car to the Skoda system without a £300 spend on another key.

Any advice welcome please.

Hi Alan,

I had the same problem setting up android auto on my 2020 Kodiaq. It ended up being the cable I was using (I am assuming you are using a cable for smartlink). I am now using the charging cable that came with my phone (transfer cable) and it is working perfectly now. Hope that helps!
