Error: tyre pressure loss indicator

Featured Replies

The car was serviced on Tuesday of this week and then a couple of days later we got the above error message. Never seen it before.

Could it be something was disturbed during the service?

They could at the service checked the tyre pressures and adjusted them and maybe not reset the TPMS.

?

Have you checked the tyre pressures you got the car back with and reset the TPMS?

I would if it was my car. Do not trust others to do it right, or set the pressures that suits you.

PS

Open the bonnet and check the oil level cold and see where it is.

You can check once you are driving at operating temp and compare. After stopping obviously and a few minutes.

Then you know next time there was the correct oil level at the service.

Look where the coolant is.

Maybe it was filled to MAX but has already set it,s own level.

This is an unusual error message, which I've never seen before, not the more familiar loss of pressure one.

@wiggers when were the tyres pressures adjusted and the TPMS reset by you or anyone?

Why does that matter? This an error message, not a loss of pressure message.

So did you try a Reset.?

Then contact the Dealership Service Department and ask for a Technician.

What was the Service,

was there a Brake Fluid change or brake service, or wheels off or just Oil & Filter and Inspection?

I have had error messages from driving on an uneven road surface. Likely related to the different rotation speeds of the wheels.

If be considering where you were driving at the time, eg were 2 wheels on the grass or on roadworks or something like that. Maybe even a slightly larger crown on a street.

I get mine if I put the wheels up on the crown of a dirt road (to increase the ground clearance).
