Octavia mk3 VRS Lowering spring advice

Featured Replies

Good morning all

Just wondering if any of you could give some advice, I’m wanting the VRS lowered but can’t make my mind up between the eibach pro or sportline springs.

I use the car daily around 400 miles a week up and down the motorway but also do a lot of trips to wales and some remote places mountain biking and kayaking, would I be better going for the pro kit (although I’m concerned it won’t be low enough) over the sportline for a best of both worlds or just go straight in with the sportline has anyone had both sets with a preference and weather the sportlines are a little scrapey when it gets abit rough

Thanks

Sam

Out of the two you have mentioned, the Pro will give you better ride quality in terms of smoothness and comfort; whereas the SportLine will be more harsh.

If it was me, I would go for the smoother one. That's based on my previous experience of lowering cars, having family sitting in the car, my age now and back issues etc

Of course the choice is yours depending on similar factors.

I went with the Pro springs. Looks great and the ride is still really nice.
