I’ve got a Skoda kamiq 1.0tsi day 2022

I wanted to have traffic sign recognition added to mine but apparently it can be done with OBD11 any others ways of activating

VCDS

Yep, if the camera behind the mirror is present then it can be done using VCDS. There are several firms that could do the coding. There are also a lot of folks who have the kit and can do it. You'll find dealers reluctant to do the adaptation.

I wanted to modify my Kamiq which I took delivery of in June 22 to add TSR. I made a few enquiries, including with this company:

Apparently, it’s not sufficient to have the camera behind the mirror (which I have), but it needs to be the right type of camera, which presumably could be identified via VDCS. I didn’t pursue it as if you are following a route on Apple Maps it displays the speed limit anyway.

Although the limit displayed is frequently incorrect, as is the limit displayed on my Karoq's dashboard.

We should all remember that these toys are driver aids.
