Featured Replies

last years MOT brought up a problem with the front brakes, front binding 57% so failed.Completely changed the front brakes, discs and pads.cleaned the caliper mounts before refitting.New brakes re-tested inbalance of 23%,after a short drive indicated no pulling when braking, MOT tester could find no reason for this, referred it to the MINISTRY OF TRANSPORT who said if everything looked in order issue a pass with referance to a skoda dealer if this problem has arrisen with them.Which skoda have no answer to this.MOT due again shortly, now when i brake there is a shudder on the the pedal, but brakes fine.Any help most appeciated

How old is the car?

What is the cars mileage?

What is the engine type?

Have you upgraded the brakes?

Have you serviced it as per the manual?

Where do you usual drive?

Do you do the work yourself on the car?
