I tried to activate the Off-road menu on a Skoda Superb 3 model 2018 using VCDS 12.12.3.0 (I was not aware of the problems with coding with older versions of VCDS.

Currently it is reporting an SOS call error and an error in the Telematics module. The LED on the SOS button is green and the SOS calls are functional.

Can you advise me how to get rid of this error?

Are you 100% sure that the VCDS is genuine? 12.12.3.0 is 13 years old which is very strange as updates to VCDS are free.

Did the VCDS cable come with software on a CD? If so then that's a very good clue that what you have is a pirated clone.

I don't know, I had a borrowed laptop and a cable. I didn't know I couldn't use the old version. I thought that when it loaded the module and showed me the adaptations, it was ok. Only then did I read here on the forum that there were problems with older versions. Now I have version 25.3 and a HEX-V2 cable.

Maybe post a full autoscan from your legit HEX-V2 and the latest 25.3 VCDS version... It will probably give more information.

Based on "Please upgrade to a current Ross-Tech interface." and "[New feature! Extended UDS fault detail is only supported by current gen. interfaces]" I'm afraid to say that is not a genuine Hex-V2...

Was it made with 25.3 as requested? The header wasn't posted and I'm no expert at spotted the output of hacked versions of VCDS so it's not clear to me.
