Do you wave?

Featured Replies

Just out of curiosity do you wave to other vRS's. I thought it was just a stupid Mini thing. Theres been a middle aged guy driving around near to where i live and every morning when i pass him he gives me a little wave. Now maybe he's just being friendly but I wasn't sure if it was a 'Skoda' thing. Just wondered how many of you do it?

I don't actually wave, just acknowledge.:wavey:

Nod, flash(using the headlights;) ) wave it's all good

i sometimes go through a phase where i wave at red cars......

I wave at all cars...

I used to when I owned a Smart (at fellow Smart owners) and normally got a wave back. I haven't come across many Atacama Beige car owners so far....

I wave at every Octavia vRS driver I come accross. Most of the time I get a wave back.

There's a bloke with a yellow vRS that I see around here that I always acknowledge.

He came up and chatted about the cars in the Asda car park once:thumbup:

Is there room to wave in a smart car? ;)

Im embarrassed to admit this, but I have been finding my hand leaving the steering wheel to wave at other vRS drivers.............

Just as well i didnt do it when I had the Focus, i would never have had two hands on the wheel!

yep, I do it.

Actually, when I drove a Smart it felt like being in a pickup truck but one that allowed following cars to drive onto the flat-bed and right up tot the rear window :D

I usually wave, bit today some duffer in a silver FAB VRs almost drove into me and he carried on like i wasn't there!

When I first learned to drive I tried to start a 'thumbs up antique skoda club' but most people in favorits and felicias are too old to be able to see such far distances.

When I have a vRS, I will be waving.

When I see an Octy vRS I will usually wave if I am able to :)

I wave and nod, all the time... er... hang on, I remember, doctors said I've got a twitch! lol.... (back to the hospital next thursday...)

I wave at the 50+ crew. Erm, sorry, I mean Fabia vRS drivers

I'm the only sub-50 vRS driver I've ever seen I think

I think StevRS is right. Every Skoda i've seen, VRS or otherwise has been driven by an OAP.

This is really a bridge club isn't it? :D

I flash but often get a confused 'What the hell is he flashing at look' back, particularly from women.

I was on the M25 last Saturday, in the 4th Lane, doing an undisclosed speed:D ,

There were four of us in the car (All Under 20) and there was a silver non Vrs furby in the 3rd lane being driven by a middle aged woman, We gave her a royal wave as we went past. I couldn't help but feel that she might have taken offence:D

Then A few miles up a silver vRS driven by a totally bald man, with what looked like his mother in law in the car, we all gave thumbs up. He seemed to be one of those people who looks at the road infront though, I can't understand people like that:P I overtook him in my 1.4 anyway;)

Edit: I wont be waving to anyone now I have an Octavia, I'd be waving at every taxi I see in the town centre. Would be enough to give me RSI.

used to allways wave receive a wave in the (issigonis) mini started giving a  to vrs but get ablank look usually in return, especially when driving gpo van
