Lowering Springs?

Hey peeps I just fitting 35mm Lowering Springs from dpm? A max? Anyway do I need to cut the bump stops?? Never had a lowered car before and only done it now as the oem ones were shot and the aftermarket was cheaper lol

This is prompted by the desire to fit a dashcam without obscuring anything important. Also, a few times when driving, my SatNav display has changed to night mode & the lights have turned on. I thought I was somehow knocking the light switch to manual but confirmed yesterday it's the sensor kicking in. I tried switching the lights off & got a persistent nag message to turn the lights on, in bright sunshine. I tried adjusting the sensitivity of the sensor & it made no difference. So

Title says it all really. I know it's not, but having finally popped into the local dealer and seen it in the flesh, the Mk2 really does look like it's about 6ft longer than the Mk1 (I know it is a bit longer, but it's only a few inches). Not quite as 'odd' looking as in all the pictures (IMHO), and all very nice inside (ignoring the gear selector rubbish, but there seem to be loads of cars with that now - I blame the 'merkins). But still don't like the chrome on the D pillar, or the rearmost wi

It's possible that the glitches with the electronics and software in the Fabia 4 mc may be partly down to the car battery. I have therefore bought a Ctek CT5 Start Stop charger. We seldom do any long runs and from now on I'll charge the battery once per month to help maintain it. The car has a battery management system (BMS) so it's best if the negative Ctek lead doesn't go to the battery terminal. The Fabia mk 4 is easily upset so avoiding the negative battery terminal ensures it knows that t

Hi All, Im new here. My wifes car is a 1.2HTP Fabia MK2 from 2010 with 103.000Kms, it has started to have a problem, when I accelerate and go to about 2.800rpms its cuts out electrics (as the air con temp stops working) and shudders, the enigine light and EPC blinks with the shuddering, see video below. I have cleaned MAF sensor and tried new coil packs, Ive looked for vacum leaks and found none, I tried connecting a Carly OBD to the car but it wont connect to the car. Any Ideas? Cheers VID

I have a 2016 Octavia 3 vRS TDi Hatchback first registered on 23/06/2016 that I bought last month. It has the variant AACUNAXD shown in the V5, is this enough info to confirm if this is a "Facelft" model? What are the differences between a facelift and a pre-facelift version?
