Do your hazards work ok?

I would guess it could have shorted sorted,in which case may have damaged the flasher unit in the hazard switch.

Change the bulb in the smashed indicator. It should fix it.

Or just take it to your garage, assuming you bought the car from them they should help you out for nothing.

Is there no CCTV on the car-park?
