Hey all,

new this amazing forum.

i have the 2025 Octavia selection trim (the lowest trim in Israel) with the 1.5 150HP mild Hybrid engine.

overall, i really like the car. but there some stuff that annoying me,

i have to use the key fob to enter the car, but start it with push button,

i saw on all 4 handles that there are sensor like in the picture:

is there any option to enable them? via the infotainment i didn't find the option..

It could be that the keyless entry is not available on the lowest specification in your country, even though the door handles appear to have the sensor. Best check with your local dealer or online website to see if it is included, or can be enabled.

2 keys.

but with non of them its isn't working..

i am not able to contact the local dealer, as the car is leased.. and the leasing company isn't going to contact the dealer..

My Superb came with three keys and I asked the dealer why and the told me that it's for the auto door opening !

Are the key batteries fresh ?

yes.. i have the car only 3 month now..

Might be worth putting a couple of quality batteries in the keys.

Surely worth a try

All door handles are the made with the same mold, they look all the same, with the 2 little "bumps" , whether they have keyless entry or not.

You can do 2 things :

• In the infotainment menu, look for a "keyless entry" on/off switch. I have it in mine.

• Go to a skoda dealer, they can run the VIN number and tell you if your car has keyless entry or not.

you right. i have contacted the leasing company, they talked with the dealer and there is no option to enable it unless i agree to pay.. (which i am not)
