Anybody else had this appear on the messages display today?

Mine is due an oil service in the next couple of weeks so will enquire about it at the same time.

Could it be the long awaited software update?

I don't know if this is true, but I found this on another forum:

“The Skoda recall 94EW likely refers to a recall for a 2024 Skoda Superb and Octavia due to a potential fire risk. The issue is a manufacturing defect where the heat shield between the brake master cylinder and the exhaust may have been incorrectly fitted, potentially causing a connection to the brake fluid reservoir to melt. “

Please disregard what I wrote above , it’s incorrect information, probably posted by someone else.

94EW seems to be the stalk for the cruise control ACC.

If anyone else has official information, please share it here.

I have spoken to the dealer and it is a general recall for the cruise control\acc stalk. There was an issue with a batch of stalks.
Mine stopped working a few days after taking delivery of the car, it took a while for a new stalk to be delivered and fitted by the dealer.

During that time there was no ACC, Driver assist or speed limiter available.
All good now.

Is there a known range of VIN numbers which are affected by this?

Had the same exact issue and got it fixed already. Hence just ignore the 94EW message that came up today?

That's what the dealer told me

Mine is from 2024.09. Having multiple software related issues +94EW.

Service states, the repair would take 3-4 days.

I was told the same. It’s booked in for the week. It’s the 190 dsg l and k 4x4 if that helps.

I’m a bit jittery because I can’t understand why it’s going to take so long, unless they aren’t 100% comfortable with what they’ll be doing and so want time in case of problems. Apparently it’s a complete software replacement, scary!

Just adding that the car isn’t showing any problems.

I believe there is a HW problem with the ACC stalk that they are fixing with a replacement of the stalk. In addition there could be a SW update issues which i do not know about and which they are fixing all at once.

My superb was delivered with ACC not working with a clear HW problem with the "set" button in the end of the stalk. It took 2 weeks to get the replacement part in and the changing of the part took half a day when it was originally booked for an hour. The overall system did not recognize the new stalk right away before some further reset of other components was the explanation to me why it took half a day. This was the first time the technician was encountering the issue so part of the half a day was trying to figure out what is going on. I believe planned replacement should go faster as they should have clear instructions what to do.

manufactured in mid-january and delivered mid-march. No other problems with the car. Very happy.

ACC stalk had/has faulty hardware button, hence the replacement as mentioned by @JuSko

Mine was manufactured in May/June 25 and no info regarding AC service campaign. I use it constantly and did 7000km as for today, all functions of ACC lever work without any issues so far.

My car went in to Skoda the other day for a repair following an accident with a deer. They did the ACC set button as apparently some hadn't been working. Mine had, but glad to know it's done.
