HIDY PEEPS

Radio has just given up, I know they are not brilliant but it better than nothing when your stuck on the M25 for 3 hours every day.

Has anybody got any clues? Could be fuse, is there an in line fuse behind the unit ? I tried the fuse panal and nothing blown in there.

If I had to go down a new HU route what do people recommend as I would like to keep the 6 cd changer in the boot and I have a Nokia phone kit which pauses the stereo if I get a call, the sound from the call comes out of the speakers too.

Not sure what the problem is but I just had my head unit replaced with an Alpine. So if you do need a new unit from a Fabia VRs give me a shout to discuss price.

I have a feeling there is a blade fuse on the back of the headunit, although I could be wrong and confused with another HU I had out yesterday.

Most do have a sub-minature fuse on the back by the power connector. Worth whipping it out to check, not many contain inline fuses thes days tbh.
