Location of draining tap for radiator on 2.0tsi engine

Featured Replies

I want to attempt a coolant drain and flush on my Octavia. It's 5 years old, silica bag removed. My issue is that I cannot for the life of me see or find the drain tap at the bottom of the radiator for my 2.0tsi 190 ea888 engine beasty.

I know the bottom tray will have to come off, does anybody have any pictures of where the drain tap is located on the radiator and how they managed to drain the coolant as the car has to be on the flat when doing so.

There probably isn't one. You'll just have to disconnect one of the lowest points in the hose system.
