Infotainment system saying ignition off

Featured Replies

Whilst driving my stereo turns off as if the ignition has been switched off. To get this to reset I have to stop, slam the door a few times with the ignition off and then turn the ignition on again. This sometimes works but then will cut off a few minutes later - or maybe be ok for full journeys !

Has anyone come across this issue before, and if so how did you resolve it ?

Wich System?

Mib 1? Mib2 High or Low Navi? No Navi?

I bought a modified one from here from a guy in Europe that had CarPlay on it - he was and probably still is well known. I assume it's written on the unit, I'll see if I've got the keys to pull it out when I'm back at the house.

Jiggled the wires at the back of the unit and the problem seems to have disappeared- thanks for your help though !
