Clutch overheating

Featured Replies

Hello all,

I recently got a gearbox service done and ever since my clutch is overheating. I drive for an hour, stop, start the car, put the gear into D and it all blinks. The car cools down and then it drives normal again. Before the gearbox service, the gear changes were a bit jerky, but after the gearbox service, the changes are smooth but clutch over heats. I am not sure what’s going on.

Someone suggested an adaptation produced use needs to be. My mechanic thinks he has done it but not sure. Do you think there are posssible problems with gearbox/ mechs tropics as a result of the work?

Do you have any ideas? A has anyone experienced this. I own a superb 2010
