Replacement Alloy for 1.2 TSI 2013 86HP

Featured Replies

Hiya,

Noob question so please be gentle with me - I need a new allow for the above and was wondering of the 5JA601025 part fits it?

Ebay is telling me it doesn't but the donor car for this was the:

THIS PART WAS REMOVED FROM A SKODA RAPID SE [NH3] 1.2 TSI PETROL 105HP ENGINE CODE CBZB 6 SPEED MANUAL GEARBOX 5 DOOR PRE-FACELIFT LIFTBACK 14 PLATE 2014 MODEL IN QUARTZ GREY PAINT CODE LF7Y/F6. MODEL YEARS 2012 2013 2014 2015 2016 2017

Did all of the 2013 Rapids (185/60R15) have the same alloys?

It looks identical!

Many thanks in advance!

There were a variety of different wheel designs and sizes offered. Get the part number off the eBay wheel and compare with your own to be sure.

Also - do you really need a replacement alloy? Can't it be refurbished (or have you bent it out of shape?)

Thank Chris - It's not bent - Just the coating has come off by the rim and one of the 5 'spokes' - Refurb might be a good shout!

I'm struggling to find the part number for mine - Where would I go about looking?

Part number will be stamped on the inner rim, either on one of the spokes or near the hub.

If the wheel is still round, just get it refurbed. Quick and easy, and really not that expensive.

Legend! - Getting a quote for that now!

Many thanks!

5JA601025 is the CARME alloy rim.

It's also available new from the Skoda accessory catalogue. The online Czech price is about £127...but the UK price can sometimes be about 20% more.

The Skoda accessory catalogue uses different OEM part numbers...in the format xxx071xxx...so that Skoda can sell them at about 60% less than their normal prices.

The alloy rims shown in the Skoda accessory catalogue can be ordered from any VAG parts department by quoting the relevant OEM part number, eg. 5JA071495.

Make sure it's not a similar alloy rim such as the MATONE...as shown below.

Thank you so much for this!!

This site is amazing!

I ended up getting a used one from Ebay for £52 - With a decent tyre on it!

I've cleaned it up and it looks in keeping with the other three and I now have a spare wheel whereas previously it was the 'goo'
