Hi guys,

Bought a 2016 Octavia VRS about a year ago and been having issues with the stalk not spraying water since I got it. Tried replacing it a few times with items off eBay but they didn’t work. Tried going direct to the Skoda dealer and fitted the very expensive one they sent, however now the windscreen wipers are on constantly and nothing else on the windscreen wiper part of the stalk works. I’m really at a loss as to what to do because I’ve tried everything, even had electrical specialists tell me to do change the stalk but still it won’t work. Has anyone else experienced a similar issue and have any fixes they can offer? The indicator side of the stalk works fine, but none of the stalks I’ve put on it seem to have a working wiper side.

It was previously Cat S before I bought it but has been through 3 MOTs since.

I also recently found a 15 amp fuse on the floor but can’t work out where it’s come from as there aren’t any obvious missing fuses in my fuse box.

Front, rear or both?

Can you hear the pump for the washer fluid working?

Does it have auto wipers? (mine does but I don't know if it was an option)

Hi,

It never works front or rear and I can’t hear the pump at all, but one of the electrical specialists managed to make it work from his tablet.

don’t know about auto wipers, how can I check?
